I JUST moved to Newnan, GA from Detroit, Michigan under a month ago and I don't know anyone and don't know anywhere to go ride.

I don't have a ton of experience at tracks, and I've never raced but I do have experience riding. Michigan has endless incredible trails (plus I had 40 acres of land). Having said that, I would LOVE to get more into tracks and learn a lot.

I'm 25, I have an 08 crf250r and I'd love to gain more experience and make lots of friends hopefully y'all can help!

There's plenty of tracks around if that's what you want, but they aren't my cup of tea. Someone should chime in with the better suggestions out your way.

Most of GOR folks are pretty familiar with trails - Highland Park and Durhamtown are the 2 biggest and have tracks and trails. Being August we kinda slow down in the hot months. Should pick up pretty good in a month or two.

But that doesn't mean you can't go out and just start following someone at one of the parks. Somebody's always riding at HP / DP on a weekend.

Enduro riding is about to crank up. All you need is a spark arrestor. www.setra.org
or SORCS and SETRA for hare scrambles (closed woods loop).

Welcome to GA and welcome to GOR.

Best,
- c bob

Welcome to Georgia and GOR. My husband and I live in Carrollton. We are typically at HP on Saturdays. We both ride trails, and HP has some of our favorites. They also have a couple of nice MX tracks. Lots of great folks out there too. We make a trip or two a year to DJ's place in Wrens - love the place and the people there too. It's our second dirt bike home. We have also had some good rides at the Ridge in Alabama and Moto Mountain in North Ga. Several friends have given good report from CMRA in TN, but we haven't been yet.

If you come to HP, we are in a white F150 an usually have an open trailer. We both ride KTM's, both numbered 114. We park in the grassy area near the cabins and the fence most o the time. Would love to say hi and show you around a bit.

Welcome to GOR. You are welcome to tag along with us. We ride Moto Mtn usually, but we are all on atv's.

I am new to the site as well and reside in Senoia, so I am very close to you. I know a couple little places around here to get your feet wet, but they don't really compare to real offroad parks, better than nothin though I guess.

I am off thursdays-sundays, so hit me up if you ever want to ride.

A bunch of friends/family have a trip planned to durhamtown on sept 21st and you are more than welcome to tag along.

My name is Steve, I have a 2012 KLX250s and I am 26.
