I've been looking for bikes so i can do the sorcs races with my son. I found a KTM that looks identical to his bike thought it would be cool for us to match up. Its a 2003 KTM 125sx. Im 170lbs and 5'11 tall. Would this be to small of a bike for me to run in the SORCS race. I am not very competivie.

I'm 6' 155lbs & race a 2005 RM125 (With a 144 kit) & it is the most fun I've had racing.
Been racing SORCS off & on since 09 & this current bike is so much more fun than my 250f or 250 2t ever were.

I'm 6'1" and haven't seen 200 in a while. I think I'll kick Gerik off his 125 next year and give him my 250. U guys are making me want to go rip it up now!

I pulled the trigger and bought it. The front forks were super stiff. I loosened all the clamps and brake checked it a few times. Now they travel freely ill probably do a fork rebuild here soon. Rear tires has 50% tread. The top end and bottom end have less than 5 hrs on them. And it pops wheelies without having to pull up on the handle bars! Hope to be out at the race in July. Thanks for the relplys! ::cheers:: ::cheers::

Congrats on the new bike! I had a 2003 250sx. You are right about a fork rebuild, that suspension is pretty rough in the woods. You may get away with using the stock springs at your weight, but a revalve will make a night and day difference. A tall soft seat helps too. That engine will be great, the 250 was really too much... Hope to see you at a race! ::up::
