I have only done 2 races with SORCS, so maybe its not the norm, but at both races they had very limited toilets. At Aonia I only counted 3 toilets and unfortunately I had to use one and sure enough there was no toilet paper left.

I love racing and will be there even if I have to poop in the woods. The problem is Im not gonna be able to convince anybody to come with me because they arent willing to deal with the bathroom situation.

Just a rant, but maybe somebody with SORCS will read this and consider adding a couple more toilets.

Until yesterday I had not raced a SORCS event in ~2 years. I agree there were very few outhouses. If you saw 3, you saw 2 more than I did. ::smirk::

That said, they may have had fewer yesterday due to the fact that Aonia has a building with bathroom stalls. They are usually clogged and you're lucky if the water works, but still, they have stalls. ::smirk::

Since my son was born 5 years ago I don't think there has been a day since that I left home without a pack of baby wipes. Even if the outhouse had paper left it's the John Wayne stuff (tough as nails and doesn't take piddley-poo off of anybody) so the wipes are 1000x better anyways. Just add it to your list of things to pack in the gear bag! ::cheers::

Now that's outta the way, can I complain about the races starting at 11:20 because people didn't get there early enough to sign up for a 10:30 start? There were still 20 people in line at 10:15, the flyer clearly states the race starts at 10:30 ::rollieyes:: ::rollieyes:: ::rollieyes::

To quote the great Honcho Williams: "Enduros ALWAYS start on time!" ::cheers::

::popcorn::

Paper towels, zip ties, TP, hand sanitizer, & plenty of water should be carried to all racing/riding events. ::up::

FYI.... The lock on the bathroom stall @ the McDonald's in Washington currently doesn't work. It'll lock but when then handle is turned from the outside you will walk in on somebody or somebody will walk in on you. ::whatever::

One more reason I love the RV! I feel your pain though. I think there were a few more, just spread out a bunch. I've noticed some races seem to be a ton of them, some seem more sparse. Must be the different pooper companies. (?)

They added a peewee race to the schedule so that may have helped back things up a little. They're fun to watch and even more of a good time to sweep with! I need to wear a camera for those little ones. Some great quotes and more kodak moments. Scott, is your little one showing any signs of wanting to ride?

I had a blast sweeping ::yippie::
Those kids wore me out...one little fella on a KLX110 must have went down 238 times ::shocked:: ...I picked his little butt up and sent him on his way...ALOT !!
The coolest little cat of all was a little fella that couldn't have weighed more than 37lbs.
He was on a little 2-popper KTM. Every time that I helped him up...He said.."I'm Good...I gotta go...Thanks'' ::smirk::
I do love those kids ::applause::
Unfortunately I witness the nasty crash below the MX track by the creek...15 year old kid from Dawsonville ate it...bad !! I had to get the Medical team in there to get him out.
Lower leg and Collarbone.
Yall keep him in your Prayers...his name is Eli.
Other than that...and my Buddy Will in the AA class had bike problems...he was on his Dad's Honda CRF450...it was a great day.

I like sweeping...I get to ride all day ::yippie::
Too bad I got tired after several laps...but...I'm old ::smirk::
On a sad note..I lost my brand new phone ::cry:: ::cry:: ::cry::

It was good to see you out there yesterday, DJ...and I'm glad you didn't have to "sweep" me up. :D

Sucks that you lost your phone.

Will do, DJ!!

To get back on topic...I agree that the number of "facilities" were insufficient for the amount of people at the event.

I used the toilet house. It worked fine. They even had hooks on the doors which is more than what they have at DP.
