Wow! That's terrible. Sounds like one of those situations you wish you would have had somebody standing guard with a 12gauge and eliminate that problem.
I have a 12 gauge Remington 8 round pump 18" street sweeper, but it lives at HP. Right about now I'm thinking it would be nice to get in some live target practice with it.
r_benner, the existing surveillance equipment had no battery B-Up, so when the power was cut, so was the video, but I doubt we would benefit much from video. These guys left no fingerprints and knew what they were doing.

I was broken into last year and had a system installed the next day. Didn't want to take chances, so I paid a little more and go the cellular option. The system is battery backup powered (for several hours), and theives can cut all the power and cable and phone lines they want - police will be dialed up via cell.
