I know this has come up more than once before, but...
Is there a series that puts the female riders in their own race, or one with "less aggressive" riders?

My daughter raced a family enduro at the Rad Dad and really, really enjoyed it...she wants to do it again, but I hate to put her out on a course with that person who wants to win at any cost. I would hate to have to discuss with someone her being used as traction...

Anyway, please share what you know. Thanks.

Sorcs Hs series is a good racing experience. You are on the course with everyone else but I have not had any bad experiences with faster, more aggressive riders. I have found that if you are courteous and give them a passing spot by just holding your line and staying right or left where ever you happen to be when you hear them, they will go by cautiously. They will even shout a "thank you" as they go by most times.

If you do Setra enduros I have often considered running the last row with friends. This way you are always behind the pros. I have seen some of the making traction out of someones bike at the GNCC's on video. ::eek::

I forgot to mention that SORCS has a novice women's class that runs in the am with the kids classes but it requires less cc's than Morgan's 200.

Thanks Surfer.
You folks riding HP this weekend? Like for Morgan to chase you for a lap.

My daughter raced SORCS in both the bike and quads women classes. She never had issues with men and ocassional found it helpful when she needed help. The women can be pretty darn competetive with each other. It got pretty ruthless a few times according to her. She always had a good time.

I hope to get out there but I have a couple of appts to show the Drz and have to travel too. I will look for ya'll if i do.

I would love to ride with Morgan anytime and hopefully she will race the Sorcs TN races. They were awesome last year. 9 miles of perfect!

I can tell her which ones to watch out for but don't let one or two keep her from joining the fun!

I love running the SORCS races and like Surfergirl, I've never had any problems with aggressive behavior from the guys... ok, well I had one guy yell "you've got to be kidding me!!!!!" when he got trapped behind me creeping down a long tight hill ::eek:: but normally I'm able to give them plenty of passing room and they scoot right on by. I haven't had a chance to run any of the races this year yet, but hoping too as soon as they get a little closer to this side of town. I've met lots of really terrific people thru the SORCS races and everyone has been so helpful and encouraging!!

I was out at HP this weeknd but didn't get a chance to meet you guys... looking forward to seeing y'all next time!! ::up::

You guys should come to HP on Oct 7th for the Hare Scramble ~ I'm sure that will be a really fun race for all ::up::

We will most likely be there. Although, I was just told of a pending trip to P'Cola that same weekend.
