Thanks for all the posts y'all! I love sitting here reading about everything, looking at the pictures and videos... I so missed being there yesterday... but NEXT SPA DAY I'M THERE!! Even if I have to use a training wheel on the left side of my bike ::smirk::

Awesome day! I am guilty of not participating in Spa Day and just rode trails all day with Pumkin. But, after not riding for 4 weeks, I felt like an animal that had just been released from being pent up in a cage for like a year! ::smirk:: Mud? I didn't see no stinkin' mud! OK, the perimeter road might have had a few yucky spots, but the trails were freakin' awesome! Gaaaawd, I feel so much better! ::cheer::

Good to see everyone, sorry I didn't get to chat more, but Pumkin was riding my hiney all day and I had to keep moving! :D ::up:: I think tomorrow she is going to feel like she got ran over by 1 Mack truck and a Kenworth... maybe a Peterbuilt too!! ::smirk::

Pumkin bounced back pretty quick this time. ::yippie:: ::cheer:: ::yippie:: I soaked in the hot-tub for about 30mins, took 20min hot shower, downed 2 naproxen and went to bed. Monday wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be.

Anyway, Michele kick my tail all over the trails but I was learning to stand more on muddy trails. Thats one of my big fears. We did I think close to 30 miles which I was very impressed with all the mud. We stuck to mostly 2Ds but we did do 11 & 12. T12 was definitely an experience. (Snotty clay up hills and big rocks) I wouldn't trade the day for anything. That was awesome. Thanks for letting me tag along Michele. I learned a little more.

That's what I think a good lesson would be. Being able to loft the front wheel over holes or bumpy sections in the trail. It definitely helps you out in a trail when there is a big hole or some obstacle and you can just loft the front wheel over it on command and not worry about it sending you off in some crazy direction.

We practiced it yesterday some and it really isn't hard just a bit unnerving if it comes up a bit more than you want.

I have suggested it as a lesson a few times as part of spa day but Paul says it can get expensive with parts if you happen to over do it! ::eek:: ::rofl:: Flipper almost showed us how to do it one Spa Day though. ::smirk::

Yea I think that was a good example of what happens when you "over do it bit"! ::shocked::
