if i do have to replace the carb is there other compatible carbs to use other than this one and i cleaned carb and adjusted float only to find it did not help i think they are still not set right

You can call Jeff Fredette's shop (Google it). He's the international go-to guy for KDX's.

There should be plenty of carbs in salvage shops. Yes, they might be gunked up worn out also.

Having it professionally dipped will clear air passages you never knew existed. Cheaper than a salvage carb, too.

The needle jet could be worn (ovaled out) and you'd never know it - The brass piece between needle and main jet.

Can you find a well running 200 to swap parts with?

Lectron makes an alternative carb but I'm betting you don't want to spend that kind of money.

now we have more problems i tried riding still leaks and now clutch is slipping was fine before i changed fluid

A lot of financially conservative riders use Rotella diesel oil. I think there's just one viscosity for the diesels. $13? for a gallon at WalMart!

Type F works well. I used it for a long time but now I use Rotella. It's very well.

took out clutch pack put it back i changed to type f fluid and now i am not getting any clutch action i feel it go into gear but when you let clutch out there is no movement of the bike i feel like i am just going in circles with this bike
