I hate the way Al skid plates mount to my KTM. Im thinking about going to KTM plastic quick release model. I know putting it on and off is a super easy. Any thoughts on using one has anyone had experience using them? :)

I have a TM designs plate. Been running it for 3 years now and have absolutely no complaints. Well over 150 hours of use.

I use the KTM plastic quick release on my 350sxf and 250sx. The one on my 250 has been on there for a while and through 2 TKO's and several trips to TTC. I'm purdy happy with it. ::up::

I do however use zip ties as extra insurance. I place one through the ring for the quick release pin and through the hole on the skid plate. You could use safety wire too but I have a huge bag of zip ties to I use them.
