I really don't like the new format that doesn't allow 1 dropped score. Any injury or mechanical issue and your team effort is done. ::mad::

Duvall injured on Day 1. No dropped scores = USA unable to defend trophy team title. ::cry::

But on a brighter note our own Steve Mason and Ben Hinojosa survived day 1. Steve has a 23:00 min penalty assessed and Ben 9:00 . . . . getting lost?

And if anyone remembers the Frenchman Patrick Schiavone that rode to enduros with me back in 2008-2009 he's in it too. Having the race 200 miles from your house helps . . . . and being French. There's 168 Frenchmen on club teams. Maybe each one has a backpack full of parts . . . . .

Silver lining: Ryan Sipes is leading the OA. If the USA doesn't have a shot at the trophy team title, I'd love to see an American win the OA again!

Must have had issues today. He fell to 8-9. But Taylor Robert jumped to 2nd.

Those results are a little confusing... Sipes won the day 2 overall but was only 4th overall cumulatively (they call it "Progressive" in their results) after day two. He did fall from fourth to eighth but Taylor Robert has stayed at second place since the first day.

Highlights after three days:
Christophe Nambotin leads the individual overall.
Taylor Robert - 2nd overall
Ryan Sipes - 8th overall
Kailub Russell - 20th overall
Grant Baylor - 28th overall
Layne Michael - 32nd overall
Josh Toth - 41st overall

US Junior Team drops to 3rd place, 1:59.49 back.
SRT Offroad Club Team (Ben Kelley, Cody Webb, and Ty Tremaine) sits 4th in the Club Overall

Jeff Russell texted me this morning and said Toth had a little mistake, was early and ended up with a 1-minute penalty. Also said it's so dusty that he doesn't even have a race to compare it to and Loretta Lynn's style heat on top of that.

Thanks for the clarification Bolt-On. I'm using the app and just checking results on my phone. In years past there was the 6 days tabs and an overall tab in the app. Now it's just the days and no overall so I assumed the overall was being calculated as a whole. Guess I'll need to check the official site for overall times.

Yeah the app is a bit confusing! I've just been looking at http://www.fim-isde-live.info/

Takes a while for them to get everything fully calculated for the day but its also fairly well organized!
