Any success/horror stories out there? I know Bling King has used them......probably more than once :D

Please, share with the class any and all experiences. Most importantly shipping time from order day to doorstep ::popcorn::

I have used both Dirtbikebitz and Dirtbikexpress for my Airoh helmets with good sucess. Delivery time is usually 5 days or less.

Always had a good experience with them, shipping was much faster than I expected every time....

Ordered from Dirtbikexpress. Delivery took 10-12 days and my credit card co charged a small out of country fee ($3.50?)

A bit off topic, but ordered a tire + stuff from Rocky Mountain ATV/Cycle. Free 3 day shipping took 6 days (Fri - Thu). Tires don't qualify and even though they ship tires separately it slows the entire order to ground. Same for hazmat (oils, etc.).

And that's 3 BUSINESS days. Somehow they give UPS long distance drivers the weekend off.

Add another day for processing. Order at 6am and it still won't leave the warehouse until 8pm.

Sounds like your UK company works hard for greenbacks. I like the auto currency converter. ::up::

Best,
- c bob

Figured that out Tuesday morning. Called several local bike shops and found everything I needed in stock locally. They couldn't price match, but the price lowered substantially to get my business ::up::

Buy LOCAL - they work with you where they can.

Yeah, I buy local - highly recommended! But certain items (Airoh helmets) aren't available in the US. I paid with paypal. The last order was placed Thursday afternoon and I picked it up the following Tuesday. The only other thing I purchase from Europe is Sinisalo riding apparel which I get from Germany.

They don't deliver directly to you?

No they hand it off to the USPS at customs in NYC.

And you have to arrange for it to be mailed from there?

What's the full process? ::screwy::

I have purchased from dirtbikebitz

It was very smooth.

The item arrived at my house via USPS a few days later.

I do feel their shipping fees are high for what was ordered but given that the items are sold in this country I couldnt get them an alternative way for less.

Good luck ::up::
