Track/Trail Feedback
It rained the night before so there was a good bit of standing water in spots and the rocky and clay sections were slick as oiled glass
Least Favorite
We camped 2 nights and there was a lot of middle of the night traffic in and out. By mid day saturday the atvs had the wet spots wallowed out into slop.
Most Favorite
well layed out and even with a crowded parking area saturday once you got out on the trail you rarely saw other riders. Also had a few fun/challenging hill climbs
Extras
pretty clean camping/parking area trails were clean and decently marked

lots of single track, tricky rock sections, trials-style in places -easy to get turned around with no map of the area, go with someone who knows it
Least Favorite
narrowness of some trails, not a lotof jumps or places to open it up to 5th gear, no MX loop or track
Most Favorite
easy parking, nice variety of rolling terrain
Extras
all else was good - not staffed, just a pay box

Trails are well maintained. It's surprising how few ruts there are.

Nicely cut trails make for a relaxing day. The trails are well maintained. Nothing too challenging...this is a great venue for beginners, family outings, or days when you just want to get out and enjoy the scenery.
Least Favorite
There are quite a few "homemade" trails that endanger the use of this and other facilities for the rest of us. I'd like to see some more challenging trails open here, but when riders create their own, they are risking EVERYONE'S right to enjoy these facilities.
Most Favorite
This is a clean, enjoyable facility with great scenery and lots of wildlife.
Extras
The Forestry Service folks were servicing the area while we were there. Everything was in good shape in the parking area. The trails were faily clean, but had a fair share of empty water bottles, beer cans, McCups, etc. tossed out by the morons that don't care.

It had rained the night before so it was very muddy and fun. Not a threat to get stuck but not a clean day of riding.
Least Favorite
Trails are to easy. not much technical riding but it is fun if it rains the night before you to.
Most Favorite
not expensive, lots of parking, clean and theres a trail boss keeping a eye on things on and off of the trails.

Not sure why this phone number has never been posted before, but you can check the status with the Talladega Ranger district at 256-362-2909. (I think this is a fun place to ride- fast trails with lots of water breaks- nothing too challenging for kids.
Least Favorite
If you have a trailer this is a long haul on rough gravel roads- almost six miles into the parking area.
