the trails were great and not too crowded for labor day weekend, I was very surprised! There are a lot of very tough obstacles here, and they are forging some newer trails. I would never suggest going alone, and always watch where you are going (it's such common sense, but people fly around corners and don't see each other all the time). If it's wet, it would be hard. Never go alone, there are a few trails that you could get stuck on!
really, there's nothing I didn't like. There were tons of challenges, and tons of fun trails to pick up the pace on, this is one park that can host bikes, atvs, and orvs happily. Word of caution, I would not suggest going alone, just in case.
If there's an accident, they do not slouch on getting you out of there! Every time I have gone, there has been a nasty accident and they have an accident team and, if need be, some off road guys can bring your orv, atv, bike out of there. It may take them a while to find you since the park trails intertwine, but they will find you and help you out! Extras
bathrooms had a wasps nest in the lock and I got stung and had to rush back to the truck to get it on ice; the camping had gravel in the parking lot and if you do not come with something to pad you, you will be miserable sleeping out there! Otherwise, it is nice, well maintained, and the ranger works hard to make sure it stays open.
