I normally go when other places are closed so it has been wet most of the times I have been. The colder it gets the slicker it gets. When I went when it was dry it was sandy dusty.

Moto Mountain is maintained by ATV riders and when the ATV's go over an obstacle they roll over them and don't crash they slide around and that is about it. The same obstacle on a bike and you can go down easily like I did on the hidden rock that I hit. We ride in the center of the trail where the ATV's tires don't normally ride. The Moto Mountain staff will just leave logs along the trail and just cover them with dirt so you can't see them and when that gets wet and or frozen it is dangerous. I won't go back again!

The trails are great-easy to follow and plenty of different variety. I'm just getting back on a dirt bike after thirty yrs and there is plenty of challenges but not so that it ruins your day!! If you got alot of experience they have trails/track for you also-so everyone is covered. See "Tomcat" he personally meets/says hello & explains the layout. I also like how easy it is to get there just 3 turns once off of 75(interstate). This place gives plenty of bang for the small fee to enter & the staff makes you feel like a king!! Once you go once you'll be back for sure!!
Extras
Plenty of parking/bathrooms clean no waiting-I've never seen trash on trail or parking area both times I went

My wife kids were not impressed with Trails A,B,C-1 C-2 or the little pee wee patch. We are a mix of Dirt bikes and ATV's The conditions were fine, just a little short and boring for them. I tried the D trail and it was fantastic for me on the Bigger ATV. lots of variety and difficulty levels. Overall trail conditions were good on all trails. The trail signs for "Parking lot direction" on all trails were poor quality and a some were down.
Least Favorite
No map or difficulty level layout was available to us at the site. I am glad I did not take the wife and kids out on the "D" trail. It started out fine and fairly easy. The bad part was that a sign was down at a very important intersection to get to the parking. This led to the only way out. The only way out of trail "D" is to take a Dirt Bike only 5 Diamond difficult level trail the last two miles to the parking lot. This is not mentioned at the beginning of the trail. Luckey for me the wife and kids stayed back at the parking. I had no problem with this dirt bike only trail on my 4x4 ATV it was fun but frustrating to find the way out with the sign down.

Trail "D" was the best trail for Me. Loved the variety of terrain and difficulty levels so I rode it several times.

Wow this place treats you like family-I meet "Tomcat" when I pulled in he shook my hand and gave me a full layout of the place!!This place "ROCKS"-trails have it all table tops, berms, small & large hills, places to catch 3rd pinned!!OOPS I ride a two-stroke so important that I can catch 3rd pinned-There is tons of different trails so no matter what your skill level is or if mx or trails is your thing this place has you covered. They even grill-out burgers, hot dogs, etc. The staff is top notch-they drive around asking if you need anything or any suggestions!!! I got there @ 1pm and had no problem finding a good spot to park(try that at HIGHLAND!!). I "NEVER" had to wait for my time to get on any trail or mx tracks-unlike last week(sunday march 10th, 2013)@ Highland Park there was hundreds trying to run mx1(at Highland you have to wait and go out in groups for mx1) and even the small track mx3 was packed!! This place gives you all the Bang for your Buck and leaves you smiling that you meet a staff that is there to help and listen!!! I'll be burning all my two-stroke premix @ Moto Mountain this summer!!!

Bathrooms where fine-no trash in parking lot-staff walking around making sure place is clean !! This place has an awesome view-very easy drive also.

Trails A,B,C,D and F were in great shape. A has alot of good jumps and big burms - alot of fun. D was my favorite. B,C and F are very beginner trails.
NOTE: E trail is for advanced riders only, i wouldhighly recomend you do not let your kids ride it. Very steep inclines and declines and there was deep wash out ruts to make it even more difficult. On the E trail there is a sign that says Hill Climbing - do not try this- someone is going to die or break their neck trying to go up those hills. A worker told me the day before a kid tried taling a atv up the hill and it wound up flipping all the way down and their was nothing but pieces left scattered.

I have been Moto Mtn. several times since they opened; living in Jasper I was excited about the possibility of having somewhere close to ride. However, I feel like it continues to go downhill (no pun intended). I went this past week with my son and was very frustrated with the track conditions.

We made our first and last visit to this park on Saturday. This is not a place for the younger kids and beginner riders to be riding. Trail conditions are awful...roots are everywhere along with huge huge ruts along most of the track/trail. There is lots of crushed slate rock in many parts of the trails. Intersections are not marked at all and trail directions are poorly marked. There are several places on the trails where you can't get by without getting eaten up by briars. There is no map of the trails nor a difficulty rating posted for the trails. There is no running water and only 1 porta potty that I could find. No shade in the parking area except for under the pavillion...which you couldn't get to that shade because everybody else was parking their bikes and 4 wheelers under there. The only picnic tables that weren't under the pavillion surround by parked 4 wheelers were overgrown with weeds. Helmet rules were not being enforced as there were a couple of people riding with helmets used for the zipline instead of proper dirt bike/atv helmets. There were also a couple of people riding laps around the parking lot speeding and slinging rocks everywhere which I thought was pretty disrespectful. I was expecting more from the "best ATV park in GA"

Tracks both A & B had smaller jumps nothing big for you hardcore moto guys(my opinion). These seemed more suited to Enduro and hare scramble guys like my self,Small doubles and singles with a few table tops and tons of huge berms.Great for practicing turns. The main trails were nice but lacked clear marking and seemed to criss cross in a maze in places. The Single track trails were our favorite.Standard bars can clear(32in) Some spots it is tight and you must "wiggle through but not many. most of the single track is very flowing and nice. One cool aspect of the single track is that all of the sections loop back to the main road in case of bike problems or injury.

No map of the facility to date(I believe they're working on it) Trail markings were best on the single track but there didn't seem to be enough,or we just didn't know where to look, the main trail can get confusing with many faded markers.

I took my son and daughter (both 11) to the park yesterday. He was on an 85 xc and she was on a Polaris 200. They both had a blast on all the trails/tracks. All are hard pack. Track E was by far the hardest either of them had ridden, and both did well. There are some twisty ascents and descents on both and I would not recommend doing E or D after a rain. The tracks (A-C) were well maintained with great berms and basically no ruts.

There were five main tracks - A, B, C, D, and E. Track "A" was the shortest and easiest track. It had alot of jumps and some switchbacks. Each trail progressed in difficulty. So, "A" was the easiest and "E" the most difficult. The difficulty came in the form of steeper climbs and inevitably descents. The climbs also required that you turn as you climbed. So, depending on your level of experience this can either be exciting or challenging.

The tracks seem primarily designed for ATVs and not dirt bikes. But the tracks were pretty well kept - no major ruts or rocky areas.
