Near Sylva North Carolina. This orv park is for bikes and atv's and consists of hard packed dirt trail 4' wide. There is no camping or water but there is a toilet. There is a small creek crossing and a waterfall.
There are about 20 miles of trails in very good condition. The park is very interesting in that it is best described as being like a motorcross track except it is all up hill or straight down hill. Doubles, triples, maybe quads. Jump after jump after jump straight up the side of a mountain. Aside from all the jumping this place is like Kentuck in Alabama. I hereby nick-name this place "Jack Rabbit Hill". If you are in the area this is a must to go to. -- PeelSkid
Hours of Operation
Directions: From Sylva N.C. Go 1 to 3 miles east on Hwy 107. Turn right at the bridge/river on to street/hwy 1002 (the 1002 sign is very difficult to see. It is located half way down the stop sign white background with black numbers) then take a left on street/hwy 1731 to Roy A. Taylor ORV Park.
This is one hard place to find for a first timer!!!!!!!!
From the Burger King in Sylva proceed East on 107 for 1 mile. Turn LEFT at the bridge onto 1002. After 3.1 miles, turn left just before crossing the river onto 1731/1732. After a mile or two 1732 forks off to the right. Continue on 1731 until the road dead-ends into the trailhead.
