Power
The bottom end is awesome for tight woods work and it still has enought top end punch to keep you grinning from ear to ear. This is a hard bike to stall. One thing I would definate recommend is performing the float mod on this bike to keep it from cutting out over the whoops. My bike also has a DG pipe on it with the stock headers...I haven't ridden a stock bike so I don't know how much difference there is in the power that is related to the pipe...one thing is certain, this bike rips on demand.
Suspension
I had the front sprung for my weight which balanced out the stiff rear suspension. I like the feel on tight trails and it sucks up the whoops pretty good. I've yet to bottom either end of it with my 205lbs since changing the front springs and even on the worst hits, it's still very predictable.
Brakes
This bike is heavy compared to 2-strokes but it still stops very well. The front brake is pretty good but not as good as the Brembo equipped KTMs and the rear is adequate. Again, having the front resprung helped the rear brakes a lot. Both brakes have a nice feel to them and are definately well thought out.
Comments
I feel like Honda built this bike just for me. It does everything I want to do on it and does it very well. The uncorked DG pipe is WAY too loud so keep the exhaust disks on. I run 12 disks and notice no difference in power but a tremendous difference in sound levels. This bike is definately a keeper!

Power
Very good for woods work, excellent bottom end decent rev. Be sure to install dual taper needle available from Honda.
Suspension
Weakest part, too soft in front and too stiff in rear.
Brakes
Very good, use Dunlop pads instead of EBC to get rid of squeaking noise.
Comments
With all the new 4-strokes coming out the 400 has kinda been push to the side. This is still a very good, fun to ride, and reliable woods bike
