Power
The power on the bike is awsome. The powerbnad is nice and smooth. Installing a new exhaust helps a bunch, I used the Big Gun race series. Jet kit will be needed also if exhaust is installed.
Suspension
Nice and soft. Feels great over rocks.
Brakes
Good, disc front and back for a quick stop when used together.
Comments
Wheelies are a breeze with the light wieght and the great power.

Power
Adequate, especially for the difficult and technical terrain encountered here in the u.k.If brute power is what you are after, choose another bike.It is great for the novice or older rider, an awesome woods and trail motor.
Suspension
plush, especially in the rocks, a bit unballanced at speed as the forks are soft and have no rebound damping adjustment the settings are not compatible with the rear suspension.Again great for the trail rider.
Brakes
Sharp and responsive ,the rear pads can wear out in a couple of rides though.A kx master cylinder and braided hose can make them even better also the solid brake pipe under the forks could benefit from a guard.
Comments
It may seemed like i have knocked this bike but i can recommend this bike to any one,it is the best bike i have owned.the only way i will buy anything else is if kawasaki designs a new klx!

Power
great after installing stroker head pipe and white bro muffler
Suspension
good
Brakes
great
Comments
change stock pipe and muffler, install hot start, take off top of air for better air flow and the first thing you change is the tires because the stock tires does not work in this area. I have ordered a pumper carb. then it will be a super great for the trail.

The bike rocks! People say that it does not have the power but I was very pleased. The bottom end won't kick you off but I was able to pull it up with no problem in second gear. I was racing a 2 stroke 200 and 1st gear we were neck and neck 2nd I started pulling away and then 3rd see ya! 3rd gear has incredible pull! Starting the bike is easy as long as you read the instructions on the tank. You simply slowly kick down till it clicks 2 times let it all the way up and give it a good kick and boom good to go. I had an XR and this things engine is much smoother no vibration at all. It rocks for trails but is not made for MX except if you put on some after market mods you could race and win.
