Power
Incredible midrange hit. Fifth gear whealies are just a twist of the throttle. Tug on the bars, and you're on your back. Good low end power. Will chug up hills like a four stroke. Hard to control very low end power right off idle.Spins wheel on slippery surfaces.Helps to turn air screw in half a turn and I've heard go up a size on pilot jet might help, but then reajust airscrew
Ergonomics
Controls all feel normal, in place and very ridable. Some people complain about starting the bike. Two things that are important in starting. First, is to kick it over fast. My bike won't spark otherwise. Second, is a little extra gas. Some guys lean there bike over to give the float boal extra gas. I richened my air screw a little
Suspension, Front
Too soft. Bottoms easily
Suspension, Rear
seams OK. Doesn't bottom like front
Brakes
Great strong brakes with good feel in the front. Have less feel in rear and tend to lock, but I could have brake damage.
Comments
Great overall bike. Hard to ride when slippery if you're a woods rider. I just had mine ported to give more smoother low end and more top end rev. Still jetting the carb. I replaced the stock PJ38mm with a PWK39.5. Supposed to have better low end circuit and an overall gain of 3hp. I rate this bike 100 on power alone

Power
This bike will surprise even the most experienced rider. It starts building power down low and pull right on through the entire powerband!! EXCELLENT.......
Suspension
I cant speak for everyone, but the stock set-up works just fine for me. Could be a little stiffer, but nothings perfect.
Brakes
COME ON!!!!!!!!! Its a Honda! Nothing more needs to be said.....
Comments
If you like a bike that screams from top to bottom and pulls like a John Deere tractor, this bike is for you. Granted, this bike is definitly not a beginners ride, it will reward those who have the experience and the ability to tame the beast. All I can say is, Honda got this one right!

Power
The bike has a ton of all around power! Low to mid to topend....its crazzy!
Suspension
The front suspension is pretty good because you can put air in them to make them the way you want them. The rears are definatly too soft! I sold my old stock shock and put a wright brothers shock on it....my favorite shock! Big improvemint
Brakes
The front brakes are disk but they dont seen to have very good stopping power. The rears are drums and they stop good.
Comments
If you like raww power this is the bike. If you want an inexpensive bike for the track or trails...this is the bike you want. Way better than the KX500 cause my bro owns one and i blow the doors it him at the track.
