DR350S model (Score: +1, Informative)
Power
Very smooth power. No punch at all, but what do you expect. I rejetted it, opened the airbox and put on a supertrapp exhaust and noticed an increase in power. Not much but easy and cheap to do. Also got rid of the street gearing for better offroad use.
Ergonomics
Im 5-11", 170 lbs and felt quite at home on it. One thing that bugged me was the rubber mounted fotpegs. THese are on the S model for comfort. You can eliminate them with shims.
Suspension, Front
Soft. Put in white bro's springs
Suspension, Rear
Soft. Put in white bro's springs
Brakes
As good as hondas. Be sure to change the brake fluid from stock.
Comments
Still a good bike today, but note its limitations. Stone reliable, good learner bike, great on trails. Quite a few aftermarket items available.
If youve owned an XL350 its damn close. Dont buy it for hiway riding, it will rev out quickly at 50mph.
