Power
Power is good for first, second and third.Fourth and Fifth are just speed though.
Suspension
Suspension in the rear sucks. It's a hard hit thogh when you land a half desent jump.Front shocks are good and soak everything up.
Brakes
Brakes are good but skid really easily. You have to ease them on to not skid.
Comments
Over all this is good bike for learing how to use a clutch because you can't kill them.

Power
The power of this bike is great for trails and for dirt pits. It can go really fast but I would not suggest that you go off big jumps with it becase the suspension is horrible!
Suspension
Terrible!! I do not know what Yamaha was thinking when they made this bike. If you hit a small bumb, your back feels it really bad. You have to stand up when going fast on a bumpy road because the bumps kill your back!!
Brakes
Brakes are ok. When you step on the brakes full in 3rd, around 20 feet later you stop, destroying your tire tread.
Comments
This bike is a good beginner bike and not meant for jumps but good for riding around.

Power
this bike is a super charged power putter outer its goes like 40 downhill in 5th gear pinned!!but then again i only rode some fat girls who weighed down the suspension too much.

Suspension
as i said before fat girl on suspension = no suspension but yamaha must have been on drugs when they did the suspension though
Brakes
decent for drum
Comments
ppl who weigh more than 100 pounds shouldnt ride this bike fat girl needs to lay off it.

This is my son's first motorcycle. I think the lower seat height helps his confidence. But I expect he will out grow it by next year. He's 11 years old.
