Power
No power on the low end, not much on the mid but a fun hit into the top! I later bought a wiseco piston, modified the cylinder and installed a 2mm smaller carb and the power-hit came mellower and earlier in the rev range
Ergonomics
Very userfriendly
Suspension, Front
ok i suppose
Suspension, Rear
= | =
Brakes
Front was useless and the rear would only lock up
Comments
Very fun bike with a relatively violent hit, But don't trust kxrider03, Mine maxed out at 105-110Km/h 6th gear pinned..(65-70mph?) 38 hp at the rear wheel? yeah right, my YZ400-79 has 36,9! Bought this bike in 2003 for 700sek = 100$!

hey kxrider03, when will you stop lying. youve clearly inhaled too much 2 stroke exhaust. you just made up some randome number for the speed or you radar was broken. it only goes like 70

Power
Very powerful, infact the most powerful 125cc bike of 1984. makes about 40hp.
VERY FAST!!!
Suspension
rear suspension is the BEST. front are good.
Brakes
they're drums, but will stop you.
Comments
awesome bike, powerful, fast and reliable. faster than almost any modern 125.( I smoked both a 2002 CR125 and 2003 YZ125)

I love this engine! The low end RPM band doesnt have much grunt, (thats expected from a 125) but when you open her up the powerband will pull hard as hell.
Suspension
Plush and soft, never bottoms out. I love the mono in the back, the front forks are great too. ( all air adjustable)
Brakes
Not bad for drums

Power
Excelent mid to top, powerband is HUGE, this bike will beat a 2001 YZ 125. The top speed on this bike is 102.2mph on dirt road, i havent been radared on pavement yet but im guessing it's about 106mph. this engine is 123cc and puts out 38hp at the rear wheel and 43hp at the front sprocket.
Suspension
the rear is better than new bikes, the front is good. will never bottom out.
Brakes
typical drums- they dont compare to disks but they will stop you. the dont lock up either.
Comments
This is a great bike, I bought mine for $300U.S. and put about $80 into it(Clutch plates, gaskets, rings, and grips). if you find one for under $1,000- buy it, you wont be disapointed. This is, in my opinion, the best 125 Suzuki ever made. This bike would be good for hare scrambles and radar runs, and on a big Moto-X track. This is my favorite bike along with Kawasakis and Can-Ams .

oh my god.. if u r even calling this piece a bike??? my brothers 01' Z 50 could go faster then this... well i dont know... ROCK??? the spark arrester always blew up, it overheated 24-7, the top end practically decinigrated and it wouldn't go fast even if u were to bore it out to its max!!!
Suspension
awkward... it was like u were on a continuously bouncing spring for the rear and the front wouldn't even compress! i swear u would have a very sore back after riding this bull!
Brakes
dog crap

Power
I think that the power of this bike is awsome, there is very little low end power, but as soon as u hit the powerband ur off, it just pulls the front end off the ground, making it an awsome weelie rider, this bike was also used to race with the 250cc's, because of its outstanding powere core.
Suspension
the rear suspension is one of the best that Ive seen, I can never bottom it it out, the front is just as good.
Brakes
the rear brake is very good, the rears could use some adjustments, but otherwise there fine
Comments
this is in my opinion, one of the greatest bikes made because of the power and the reliability factor, and because its just such a comfortable bike to ride.
