Power
power was like that of a 125 (of the same year area) at the bottom end. wheelies were not found until about 4th gear, but it was cool the way it picked up in 4th. pretty dern fast.
Suspension
front worked. duel shocks not too bad, they worked as well.
Brakes
the rear i thought was better than a lot of newer models. front was only good if you combined it with the rear.
Comments
i liked the bike for the age. downside was, you couldnt jumpe the slightest thing.good for a newcomer to our little sport.

Power
Im only 15, but the power i think is excellent! Ive got a 83 model but it wheelies great & cruises at 70mph! It has a reproduced carb, coz the previous owner abused it, but thats it! Top speed is 85mph
Suspension
The front tends to bottom out a bitgoing over jumps, but it is not really designed for that so u can forgive it. The rear is comfortable but over rough ground, can be too stiff
Brakes
The front cannot take alot of strain and crewks when slowing down quicker from high speed, but rear is perfect
Comments
They should of kept this bike in production & turned it into a monoshock rear, then id give it 100

Power
good enough.. it's a light bike. mine goes about 65mph but I put a smaller front sprocket on it.
i think it is rated at 16 horsepower.
Suspension
leaves some to be desired when jumping,
but that's not the purpose of the bike..
on pavement it's.... well.. not a street bike either. but that is what you get when you want both.
Brakes
front brake isn't really strong.. back is fine.
nothing dangerous.. just not what a new bike is like.
Comments
really great bike.. my 2nd and I have put more than a few thousand really hard miles on it. I beat it.. and it just always works.
