Power
I could get the front end up anytime without a problem.
Suspension
Front forks were good. The rear prolink was very new. First or second year for the Honda. It did the job.
Brakes
Front? What front? They stunk. Rear wasn't much better.
Comments
One thing I remember about this bike is I was able to ride it for hours on end without getting sore wrists. Some newer bikes I have ridden hurt after 15 minutes. I really liked that about this bike. Unfortunately this bike got totalled in a stupid accident which was not my fault. I really enjoyed the MANY MANY hours I put on her.

Power
The power is great. The bike wont come up on you if your sitting far enough forward but the bike still screws.
Suspension
Suspension is excelent, in '82 the bike came with a soft, and hard spring, i've heard the hard spring is much better, iam not sure wich mine has but the suspension is great and hasnt bottomed out on me at all.
Brakes
Brakes are ok, the back brake lever is a little to close to the frame for my liking, it isnt easily excessible, and it has far to much freeplay, once aplied they do lock up the tire. Front brakes are great.
Comments
Great first bike. Plenty of power, big enough for most riders, and you can usually pick one up for very cheap (mine was $200)

Power
The CR125RC has versatile power delivery, making it suitable for motocross, dirt track, cross country or enduro. Steep uphills usually defeated it, however it is so light that you can just lift the bike around and try again.
Suspension
Good suspension, even for a heavy guy like me. Helps to use the 'heavy' spring supplied in the Honda spares kit.
Brakes
The brakes seemed okay 20 years ago, but compared to today's drum brakes...
Comments
The Honda CR125RC still waits patiently for me to resurrect it for vintage motocoss here in Melbourne, Australia. Still starts first kick.
