Power
Unbelievably smooth delivery! The easiest bike to wheelie I've ever ridden. Alot less than a 2 stroke 250 MXer but way more than a 125. The perfect amount of power and type of delivery for the trails.
Suspension
Great for the trails, feels really plush over bumps and rocks. Not meant for jumping high.
Brakes
As always, Honda got the brakes right.
Comments
One thing to watch for, XRs aren't meant for jumping big, the driveline doesn't handle big shocks well. If you jump it too big or too much, you'll shatter a gear in the transmission or just mess the transmission to hell. If you've gotta jump, I've heard that holding the clutch in while landing will save the tranny. I know it's way harder, but that's the only thing I've heard that works to save the tranny while jumping an XR.
