Power
Love it !! I added a FMF Powercore, and this thing screams, perfect hill climber
Suspension
The suspension is great for woods and enduro, but u wouldn't want to be hittin the doubles
Brakes
the brakes are excellent, disks, all there is to it
Comments
This is definately a great bike in terms of performance and handling, would reccomend to any one not afraid of "feeling the power between their legs"

Power
The DRZ400S is a slightly less powerful roadlegal version of the DR400. This make the bike much more user friendly when used for either commuting or trail/enduro us.
Suspension
For the market at which this bike is aimed the suspension is more than capable.
Brakes
Excellent
Comments
This bike is in Eritrea were it has been used as a working bike by many riders since Mid 2000. It has stood the test of time well, having never been properly serviced. The indicators and mirrors have been removed, while Renthal bars and off road tires fitted.

Power
Good power at around 40hp stock, and it easily wakes up with jetting and a good pipe. I've got the BigGUN Race pipe and 170main + 48 pilot. After those changes, she really woke up, and a twist of the throttle and you'll be hanging on -- like you should be.
Suspension
From the factory, its a little squishy for me, and for most people that I know that own one, and I know several who do. After spending a few days playing with the clickers, you'll have her flying down whoops effertlessly. Its going to take some time, but its worth it. I'd recommend revalvinv and respring front and rear if you've got a $600, it makes a huge difference.
Brakes
Practically the same as the RM, so you won't have any problems stopping. The brakes modulate well, I think, but I've heard others complain about them getting too hot.
Comments
This is a great bike for trail riding. I've converted mine, a DRZ400E to street-legal, and it makes a great Dual-sport bike. Its very capable in the woods, and most everyone that rides it, wants it. Power
It drags from 1-3 gear then picks up speed
Suspension
too stiff- If your jumping get ready for a bad back
Brakes
perfect stoping power
Comments
I like the bike but for jumping the suspesion sucks and for 1-3 gear speed the 250s will smoke you
