Power
mine is geared pretty tall, its got 44 teeth on the back sprocket and 13 on the front, its top end hauls serious arse, even down low it pulls through pretty much anything, its seems to be a good strong motor that isn't real harsh, just smooth
Suspension
good, never bottoms on me and the is definately head over shoulders above the earlier model alloy framed cr's, the back doesn't skip around like they used to
Brakes
awesome
Comments
had no troubles so far, only had it for a couple of months, i race amatuer grass track and the way ive geared the CR is great. it clocks 145 kms per hr!! thats pretty dam fast for a 250 mxer

F/////! this is the weakest bike i have ever owned, my friends 72 XR75 has more acceleration! if you want something with loads more power than this sh//, BUY A HORSE!!!!
Suspension
bottoms out over a gutter, always leaks fluid, rear leaks co2
Brakes
always allow a mile to stop
Comments

Power
Great power. Lots of top end. I had a FMF pipe on it so that might have helped. Mine didn't have any low and not much mid. Just lots of top. So it was easy for me to go from my 125 to the 250 easy since I race both.
Suspension
Suspension is not as good as the other bikes (YZ). Mine was set up for supercross though.
Brakes
Great brakes.
Comments
Nice enough bike. Doesn't do anything wrong. It will tire you out though because of the vibration. I have no brand loyalty but I like the YZ250 better. Remember McGrath, Emig, Reynard CHOSE to ride a YZ.

Power
It has great power. It does lack low end for a 250 compaired to the y2k models but is the king on top.
Suspension
I would say it has the best suspention of the y2k bikes and some y2k1 bikes
Brakes
Honda has a reputation for the best brakes and it dosent dissapoint.
Comments
I would reccomend this bike to all intermediate-pro riders. This bike is hard for beginners but if you think you can get use to the power it is well worth the investment. It dosent beat you up like the 97-99's so If you had any of thoes models and liked them then you are in luck, I would say this is one of the greatest bikes ever built.

Power
Broad, smooth, and strong. In general very competitive.
Suspension
Much better than in the past and very liveable but still not perfect. To make it more perfect I would improve the initial plushness and improve the bottoming resistance.
Brakes
These brake are the best I have ever owned. Very powerful, excellent feel, and controllable.
Comments
It does seem to have more vibration than the steel framed bikes but it is not a big complaint for me. Overall the bike 2000 CR 250 works good on the track and in the woods. I am very happy with my choice.
